The Love Feast

The Love Feast is a special meal and worship service of Holy Communion celebrated in the way that early Christians worshiped each Sunday in cities all across the Roman Empire.
Sunday was a working day in the empire, and so each Lord’s Day, Christians would come after work to the gathering place, usually the home of a wealthy person, and enjoy a meal together, sing songs, raise prayers, witness to God’s love in Christ, hear the Word, share communion, and care for one another, especially the poor, widows, and orphans.

This video includes the sermon and music, with a slideshow at the end.

To find out more about our church, visit us on a Sunday at 9:30 a.m., at the corner of Ivywood Drive and North H Street in Oxnard.
